Atiqullah Habibian

My name is Atiqullah Habibian. I obtained my BA degree in English Literature and Humanities Science from Herat University. Currently, I am studying online Master in Election Policy and Administration, MEPA, in UNITAR, Pisa, Italy.
I have over ten years of experience in elections operations management, civil affairs, and governance while working with UNAMA, UNDP, and World Vision International in Afghanistan. Since 2014, I have been providing advisory/technical support to the two Election Management Bodies (EMBs) of Afghanistan as the UN National Officer for long-term capacity building during presidential and parliamentary elections in Afghanistan. My key working areas include project management, election operations, governance and democracy, decentralization, democratic governance, public administrative reform, capacity building, anti-corruption, gender and women empowerment in Afghanistan.
My latest occupation in the framework on United Nations was two months filed mission to Beirut, Lebanon in 2021. I was part of a United Nations team deployed to Lebanon for coordinating Afghanistan EMBs strategic planning forum conducted by UNDP. Currently I am living in France.
